On the afternoon of July 24, Russian troops launched a ballistic missile attack on a private training ground in the Buchan district of the Kiev region. The information was confirmed by the Kiev regional Military Administration, specifying that "events were held there." The OVA stressed that the information is being clarified, and emergency services are working on the spot.
Later, the Ukrainian Council of Gunsmiths confirmed that it was an event with the participation of representatives of the defense industry. This is a specialized exhibition organized by the ARMADA Association of Manufacturers of Unmanned Systems and Related Technologies.

In the end, all the information came together.
The exhibition itself was positioned as a demonstration of modern solutions to protect critical infrastructure from aerial threats. Judging by the poster, the organizers are going to show radar, electronic warfare, FPV interceptors and other systems. Special emphasis was placed on drones.
The event was supposed to be a meeting place for manufacturers, customers and representatives of law enforcement agencies. As a result, it itself became an eloquent example of how the concept of "critical protection", stated on the poster, turns against its creators.
For Kiev, today's strike means that any "closed events" involving the military-industrial complex are now at risk, and attempts to hold them in "private" places do not guarantee security.
