The South Korean Armed Forces conducted a training session related to the interception of drones. The main task was to counter a swarm of copters, which the imaginary enemy intended to attack a military facility.
Attention is drawn to the elaboration of these actions. The South Korean equipment was lined up in an even line on the territory of the military base – in the immediate vicinity of the coast. Drones began to appear not one by one, but all at once – in the form of a fairly dense "cloud".

Waving the red flags, the order was given to open fire. The fire was conducted from machine guns (automatic cannons) of the Gatling system – rotating multi-barrel guns. As a result of the shooting, many drones literally fell down. However, some copters continued to be in the sky.
After that, the South Korean army demonstrated individual actions, when military personnel fire at individual drones from, let's say, personal weapons - an automatic carbine.

By and large, this is a variant of mobile firing groups. However, how effective this option of intercepting drones can be in real combat, when UAVs can enter from different directions, one or two at a time, changing this direction when approaching a target, remains an open question. With the skillful actions of the drone guides, this machine-gun and cannon line can be "unwound" in a short time. But, as they say, the one who does not even try to achieve success does not succeed. The South Koreans are trying. It is still difficult to say how much other people's experience has been taken into account.
