Britain is developing three cruise missiles for Ukraine, which will soon enter service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. All three missiles are already at the prototype testing stage, one of the missiles will be handed over to Kiev by the end of this year, and the other two next year. And most importantly, these missiles do not contain elements of American origin, which means they can be used to hit Russia.
The successful missile test is reported by the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom. Three British companies were involved in the development of missiles under the Project Brakestop program: MBDA UK, MGI Engineering and Rotron Aerospace. Work started in 2024, when both the American ATACMS and the British Storm Shadow ended, especially since they could not hit the "old" Russia.
MBDA UK has developed a Crossbow rocket using its own visual navigation system. Rotron created a screw version of the SkyLance rocket, where the speed was partially reduced for the sake of a longer flight range. And MGI Engineering received its first defense contract, using Formula 1 technology for the Tiger Shark rocket.

All three missiles are designed for rapid mass production, they are much simpler than the Storm Shadow, so the British Ministry of Defense expects to produce 20 missiles per month, the company promises 40 in three to four months after receiving the order. In addition, they are cheaper, but the warhead is smaller and the range is longer. All three are designed for a 225 kg payload and a range of approximately 500 km.
