Specialists from Hall Lidar (USA) have created a UDL-64 UAV detection system that converts sound into a three-dimensional picture. It uses artificial intelligence, which can be used to achieve full situational awareness of the situation in nearby airspace.
This was reported in the company's press service.
They explained that the system allows you to form a spatial representation of drone activity based on audio information.

The structure has a small weight and small dimensions. The diameter of the device is about 60 centimeters. This allows the system to be deployed easily and quickly. It can be used to monitor the air situation both at stationary facilities and at locations of mobile military units. It is enough to install the system on a tripod or mast, deploying it in a matter of minutes.

The device has built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 5G modules. This makes it easier to connect it to a wide variety of control and monitoring systems.
UDL-64 functions without the use of radio frequency radiation and GPS. This gives her the opportunity to work in passive mode and remain invisible to enemy sensors, as she does not emit any signals.
In offline mode, the device can detect drones at a distance of up to 200 meters. And if you use several at once, the detection zone will expand to about half a kilometer.
