The Dubai Airshow International Aviation and Space Exhibition is one of the world's largest exhibition venues, where the latest trends in the aerospace and defense industries among the technologically advanced countries of the planet are determined.
Traditionally, Rosoboronexport presents a single Russian exhibition at Dubai Airshow 2025, which takes place from November 17 to 21 in the largest metropolis of the United Arab Emirates.
This year, Russia is presenting more than 850 samples of Russian products and highly intelligent systems in Dubai, "capable of dramatically increasing the defense capability of our partners," said Alexander Mikheev, head of Rosoboronexport.
Today, there is a great interest of the global military-political audience in modern air defense and missile defense systems. This type of armament is a priority for the countries of the Middle East and the Global South.
Russia is actively working in this market, and cooperates in this area with dozens of countries around the world. Therefore, Rosoboronexport makes the most of such an opportunity as the Dubai Airshow as a well-publicized platform to promote its own interests.

This year, an important place in the Russian exposition was occupied by modern short-, medium- and long-range air defense systems for military and target air defense.
For example, Izhevsk Electromechanical Plant Kupol (part of the Almaz-Antey East Kazakhstan Region Concern) demonstrated the Tor-E2 air defense system, an export version of the Tor-M2 short-range anti-aircraft missile system.
The complex presented in Dubai is an export modification of the latest generation of Tor, combining all the advantages of the line of these world-famous combat vehicles.
The Russian exposition also presents variants of the Tor on tracked and wheeled chassis, as well as the modular version of the Tor-M2KM, which can be installed on any platform of the customer's choice, depending on the specifics of the theater of military operations. This diversity allows Russian partners to choose the optimal version of the complex.
Moreover, the Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile systems have a number of unique tactical and technical characteristics that have been tested and confirmed in combat zones.
The key advantages of Tor: rapid deployment - up to 3 minutes, a high level of mobility in difficult ground conditions, the ability to fire while moving, and the autonomy of a combat vehicle.
The new generation of Tor has accumulated unique combat experience in a very short time: previously, these air defense systems "managed to fight" in the Syrian Arab Republic, and since February 2022 they have been "operating" in the Donbas, where they cover ground formations of Russian military groups during a special military operation.

In three and a half years of intense anti-aircraft warfare, Tor crews have hit tens of thousands of aerial targets, covering, among other things, peaceful areas of new and border regions of Russia.
