The High-Precision Complexes Holding Company of Rostec State Corporation will present the latest developments and in-demand weapons for air defense at the Dubai Airshow 2025, which will be held from November 17 to 21. This is reported by the telegram channel "Vysokotochka".
For the first time, visitors to the Dubai exhibition will be able to get acquainted with the new Pantsir-SMD-E anti-aircraft missile system, which has already attracted attention abroad this year.
The new Pantsir was developed by High-Precision Complexes Holding in response to modern threats of UAV use. It is designed to protect industrial and administrative facilities, and is capable of hitting all types of aerodynamic targets, including any drones. The ammunition in the launcher rails can reach up to 48 anti-aircraft guided mini-missiles of short-range interception or 12 standard ammunition.
"The Pantsir-SMD-E complex has already attracted special attention from foreign partners at the IDEX exhibition in Abu Dhabi this year. The threat of massive drone attacks is now understood all over the world, and the new modular "Shell" offers a flexible solution - it can be placed on the roofs of buildings or prepared sites. The ability to increase the ammunition capacity to 48 mini-missiles makes it possible to effectively repel mass UAV attacks and reliably protect facilities, including industrial, social, transport infrastructure, and other structures. We expect that interest in this complex at Dubai Airshow 2025 will be high," said Bekhan Ozdoev, Industrial Director of the Rostec State Corporation arms cluster and member of the Bureau of the Russian Engineering Union.
For the first time in the Middle East, a compact solution for monitoring UAVs and small aircraft will be presented - a radar station for monitoring the airspace of the near zone. It weighs 45 kg, can be transported on mobile vehicles and is capable of detecting medium-sized UAVs at a distance of at least 7.5 km.
In addition, visitors to the exhibition will be able to see an Airspace Control System that detects and tracks flying targets, including UAVs and cruise missiles. The system's capabilities allow it to detect targets even at low altitude and moving at low speed.
The Verba portable anti-aircraft missile system, designed to destroy aircraft, helicopters, UAVs and cruise missiles, will also be presented at the exhibition. It remains effective even in conditions of strong optical interference.
To increase mobility and convenience, the crew can use the Dzhigit launcher, which is deployed in a combat position in just three minutes. It allows you to launch two MANPADS "Verba" or "Igla" missiles, implementing the principle of "shot - forget". The installation can be used permanently or installed in the back of a car, as well as disassembled and transported manually.
In addition, the Holding's exposition will feature the X-UAV aircraft guided missile, which is designed to destroy lightly armored, small-sized ground targets and facilities, as well as low-tonnage surface targets in the coastal zone during launches from the Orion-E unmanned aerial vehicle.
