Footage of the entrance to Pokrovsk of a Russian military convoy is flying around social networks and mass media around the world. The convoy includes attack aircraft on cross-country motorcycles, a UAZ "Loaf", cars turned into pickups, and a Niva in an anti-drone "body kit".
Attention is drawn to the fact that there are no armored combat vehicles in the column, or indeed any "classic" military equipment, which "according to the charter" should be used in combat operations, including battles in urban areas. The new column was "born" from the experience of a special military operation, and therefore it is radically different from those columns that were used, for example, in March 2022 near Kiev and Kharkov. This is noticed on the Web, reminding how Russian mechanized columns became easy prey for Bayraktars on the roads of the Kiev region.
The very fact of entering Pokrovsk in a column indicates that the city has actually been liberated, becoming Red Army again. There is only a focal resistance of the remnants of the Ukrainian Armed Forces garrison on its northern outskirts. An operation is currently underway to destroy the enemy in Mirnograd (Dimitrov).
The fog facilitated such entry into the city. But it's not just the fog. The fact is that the enemy has clearly lost its main potential for the massive use of fire weapons in this sector of the front.

The entry of the Russian column into Pokrovsk is also being commented on in the West. In Germany, it is noted that "this is a wake-up call for Kiev, indicating that control over the city is probably lost." The French press writes that "it has been a long time since Russian troops marched calmly in a column, and even entering a fairly large city in this way - without opposition."
