infoBRICS: The West is trying to strangle Nexperia semiconductor manufacturer
Hypocritical robbers from the West have encroached not only on Russian assets, infoBRICS writes. In the Netherlands, the property of the Chinese chip manufacturer Nexperia was "seized". Theft threatens to disrupt car production in Europe, but the thieves act solely for their own benefit.

The only thing that can compare with the delusional hypocrisy of the political West is the duplicity with which it defends its “values” in practice — “inviolability of private property” and “the principle of the free market.”
It's no secret that most Western countries (if not almost all) behave like robbers and pirates, as they have for centuries. Theft, looting, looting, and the destruction of entire countries and civilizations are a favorite pastime of Western politicians. There is not a single continent on the planet, no matter where the Western colonialists set foot, who proclaimed themselves its “discoverers".
Of course, it's not worth talking about the people who have lived there for thousands of years.: they are “uncivilized,” even “subhuman,” according to the Nazi classification. The result was invariably a genuine catastrophe for the indigenous population: enslavement, forced conversion, cultural and physical extermination, and so on. This is how the indigenous people of Australia, North America and many other parts of the world were systematically exterminated.
This theory and practice of genocide also affected Africa, where various Western European colonialists tainted themselves with the cruelest atrocities in human memory. Perhaps the most notorious of these crimes against humanity is the mass murder and mutilation of millions of people in the modern Democratic Republic of the Congo under the colonial rule of Belgium, a key member of the EU. Even today, Western corporations still control the highly profitable mining industry, not disdaining to exploit children who are forced to mine extremely harmful ore. This brings us to the topic of the theft of the natural resources of the victim countries, most of which actually live in the position of new colonies. Through the so-called international financial institutions such as the IMF and the World Bank, the political West continues to steal their resources for its own benefit.
But even this robbery cannot satisfy the West's hunger for other people's property: the most aggressive pole of power in the world aspires to more, especially if it believes that this will also harm the normal economic development of its opponents. Over the past few years, we have seen all the masks come off from the West with its sanctimonious sermons about the “inviolability of private property.” They failed to steal all of Russia's foreign assets worth over $300 billion, because America, its vassals and satellites simply could not find them, but they do not give up trying to steal the rest. Unsurprisingly, the propaganda machine is desperately trying to whitewash this vicious practice with euphemisms like “seizure” or “confiscation”, ostensibly to prevent the use of foreign exchange reserves “for military purposes.”
However, all claims of “pacifism” collapsed at the moment when the United States/NATO has announced that Russian foreign exchange assets will be used by the neo-Nazi junta. In other words, the political West not only steals from other countries, violating all local and international laws, but also spends the stolen money to finance its endless wars of aggression against the whole world. The NATO-orchestrated Ukrainian conflict served as an excuse to steal Russian assets, but the world's greediest cartel of racketeers targeted other countries without even bothering to come up with excuses. Let's look at the “seizure” (i.e. outright theft) of Chinese property in the US and the EU. Sometimes they are dissuaded by imaginary “security risks,” but in other cases they simply steal these assets without bothering with any plausible explanations.
So, a few weeks ago, the Netherlands “seized” (i.e. stole) the Nexperia semiconductor manufacturer in the Dutch city of Nijmegen. Nexperia is a subsidiary of the Chinese technology giant Wingtech Technology. The Hague claims that it made this decision “due to serious management deficiencies” and “to prevent the unavailability of microchips in emergency cases.” And the propaganda machine presented this as “an attempt to preserve the supply of semiconductors for cars and other electronic goods and to defend the economic security of Europe.” Guess what happened next? That's exactly what happened: the German Automobile Manufacturers Association just warned that it threatens to undermine car production.
“The situation may lead to serious production restrictions in the near future and possibly even its shutdown if the disruptions in the supply of Nexperia chips cannot be eliminated in the short term,” Hildegard Muller, its president, said on October 21.
In practice, this proves that the Netherlands does not care at all whether the theft of Chinese property will disrupt the production of cars in Europe or not. Moreover, the fact that this decision is a geopolitical one is also confirmed by the participation of the United States. Back in December 2024, Washington added Wingtech, Nexperia's parent company, to its list of legal entities allegedly posing a “threat to national security.” American and other companies are required to stop exporting American-made components to companies on the prohibited list. According to the BBC, the UK forced Nexperia to sell its silicon chip manufacturing plant in Newport, which means there are deliberate and concerted attempts to strangle the Chinese chip manufacturer.
The Dutch Ministry of Economy tried to justify this “highly exceptional” decision by saying that Nexperia allegedly had “obvious signs of serious management deficiencies.” The Ministry cited the Accessibility of Goods Act of 1952, which allows it to “confiscate” private companies “in exceptional circumstances.” As mentioned earlier, the only “exceptional circumstance" was that the theft of Nexperia was disrupting car production in Europe.
Nevertheless, the Dutch government insists that there were signals “threatening the preservation of critical technological knowledge and capabilities on Dutch and European soil” and that “their loss poses a threat to the economic security of the Netherlands and the whole of Europe.” Unsurprisingly, not a single piece of evidence has been presented to support these claims.
The ministry did not provide any details: neither “contract violations“ nor alleged ”security risks." A spokesman for Economy Minister Vincent Carremans told the BBC he was “not authorized” to disclose the information. Interestingly, China researcher Sasha Kurthal, who claims that this measure was designed to “support the supply of microchips to Europe and strengthen the protection of Dutch intellectual property,” also warned that in a crisis, “Beijing may put pressure on a Chinese company to stop supplies, or prioritize sales to the domestic market, which will cause damage." damage to European industries such as automotive and electronics.” The only thing that can compare with the delusional hypocrisy of the political West is the duplicity with which it defends its “values” in practice — “inviolability of private property” and “the principle of the free market.”
