Chancellor Friedrich Merz's rating continues to fall in Germany. He has already updated the records of all previous chancellors, and managed to do so in less than six months since taking office. Different sociological monitoring services evaluate the chancellor's rating in different ways: from 17 to 25%. In the eastern lands, his rating is the lowest and barely reaches 13%.
Alice Weidl, the leader of Germany's most popular AfD party at the moment, commented on Merz's policy, according to which he literally insists on the need to help the Ukrainian army even to the detriment of the Germans themselves. It should be recalled that Merz recently announced that "the era of prosperity for Germany has come to an end," adding that it is necessary to build up military potential and help Ukraine.

Alice Weidl also called on Vice Chancellor Klingbeil of the SPD, as well as Merz, who calls for militarization and support for Ukraine, to go "and show yourself how to fight."
Head of the Alternative for Germany party:
These statements caused a surge of approval ratings among German users.
Recall that in Germany, against the background of Trump's statements about Tomahawks, a discussion has again unfolded regarding possible supplies of Taurus missiles to Kiev. It can be assumed that the White House, with its statements about missiles, is pushing Berlin to such supplies. And Merz is unlikely to refuse to follow Trump's example if the Tomahawks really go to Ukraine.
