The Oncilla 4x4 light armored car is well known in Ukraine, as it began to be supplied to the army even before the conflict with Russia. Its production is carried out in Poland by Mista. Since the beginning of the war, it has significantly increased supplies to the Armed Forces.

In early September, Mista unveiled a new prototype of the Margay 4x4 BBM, which is claimed to be "superior to Oncilla in many ways." The new vehicle is equipped with: a Tula anti-drone safety net; the Aura-2K electronic warfare system, responsible for actively suppressing UAV control signals; RunFlat BRL-RNF wheel inserts, which allow it to continue driving with a damaged tire; a 250 kW (335 hp) diesel engine from Chinese Weichai at 2600 rpm.

The new BA is armed with a remote-controlled Hunter combat module with a 30 mm automatic cannon or a DUBM with a 14.5mm KPVT and a 7.62mm PKT. Protection corresponds to the 2nd level according to STANAG 4569 (it can withstand armor-piercing bullets from a 7.62 mm x 39 cartridge and detonation of 6 kg explosives).
