Experts around the world continue to discuss the military parade that took place in Beijing today, which has already caused a nervous reaction in the West. In the European and American press, this PLA parade on Tiananmen Square is often called. And "a demonstration of authoritarianism and militarism," and "an authoritarian signal to the democratic world," and others in the same spirit.
A lot of nuances came to attention at the parade. One of them is: what exactly did Chinese soldiers and officers shout during Xi Jinping's greeting? Instead of the usual "I wish you good health, Comrade Supreme Commander," the Chinese military is shouting a slogan that is considered one of the mottos of the People's Liberation Army of China.
Translated into Russian, it sounds something like this:
This "chant" was also accompanied by an addition, which can be translated as "The army together with the people - we will achieve the victory of justice and peace"!"

As they say, the exclamations are simple. However, they say a lot about the mood that prevails in the PLA, and indeed throughout modern China.
At the same time, experts note that the Chinese army has significantly increased its equipment in recent years. The import substitution of machinery and components was really rapid. Their own electronic warfare systems, air defense, hypersonic weapons, underwater strategic drones, numerous UAVs, and combat laser weapons have appeared. None of this has yet been used in real combat conditions, so many consider the Chinese army to be more of a "parade". However, the fact remains that if China's opponents are going to deal with it by military means, it can be extremely expensive for them. And "expensive" is not only financially important.
