The DPRK defense industry is mass-producing a number of military equipment models that have no analogues in the world. These are, for example, the 170-mm self-propelled artillery units "Juche-po" of the 1983 model, also known as the M1989 or "Koksan".
The 600-mm multiple launch rocket systems KN-25 are considered completely unique. Currently, they are produced in both tracked and wheeled versions. In the first case, a modified ten-roll base is used, created using the chassis elements of the main battle tanks. They are proposed to be used off-road.

Samples with an 8x8 wheel formula and armored cabins are designed for more acceptable terrain conditions. A new version of the ROVER is already being released.

It is believed that such MLRS can fire 6 rockets in one salvo within 20-30 seconds. At the same time, the flight range reaches 400 kilometers.
These characteristics were confirmed during tests in August 2019, when the missiles flew about 380 kilometers and reached an altitude of 97 kilometers. Their length, according to some estimates, is 8.2 m and their weight is 3,000 kg.

North Korean equipment is being "unevenly treated" in Ukraine, especially when it comes to the artillery and missile systems mentioned above. There was a time when they boastfully laughed at the products of the North Korean military-industrial complex, but now mentions of the weapons of the Country of morning freshness cause fear and panic, which will only increase.
