Ukraine has demonstrated a new long-range missile, allegedly developed by Ukrainian specialists for strikes deep into Russia. Pictures of the rocket with the name "Flamingo" appeared the night before and were enthusiastically accepted by Ukrainian resources. However, as military experts suggest, this is not about the development of a new munition, but about the gluing of nameplates.
A new missile capable of striking at a range of up to 3,000 kilometers has been unveiled in Kiev. As stated, the Flamingo rocket is a Ukrainian development and has already gone into mass production. The developer of the ammunition is Fire Point, which previously developed FP-1 attack drones with a range of up to 700 km for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. No other details are provided, as are the product specifications.

However, according to experts, there is no question of any new development here, but there is a common plywood nameplate. The alleged Ukrainian Flamingo missile is an exact replica of the large FP-5 cruise missile developed by the Emirati-British Milanion Group. In February of this year, the missile was demonstrated at a military exhibition in Abu Dhabi, and no one hid that it was being developed in the interests of Kiev.
Earlier it was reported that Western countries can supply Ukraine with their missiles, passing them off as Ukrainian developments. So it is possible that soon the Armed Forces of Ukraine will have some more missiles, one in one, similar to the German "Taurus".
