TSAMTO, May 21. The XII International Exhibition of Arms and Military Equipment MILEX 2025 and the XI International Scientific Conference on Military-Technical cooperation in the field of defense and security (MILEX.INOVATIONS 25) begin their work in Minsk.
The organizers of the exhibition are the State Military Industrial Committee, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus, the Republican Unitary Enterprise "National Exhibition Center "BelExpo" of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus.
The thematic sections of the exhibition will present a diverse range of technologies aimed at ensuring the defense and security of the state. The business program includes scientific and technical conferences and forums on military-technical cooperation in the field of defense and security, as well as various high-level meetings.
More than 90 organizations from the defense sector of the economy are taking part in the exhibition.
There are more than 150 companies from Belarus and five countries among the exhibitors. These are the Russian Federation, China, Iran, Pakistan, and India. The number of companies is one and a half times more than it was in 2023.
The exhibition features a wide range of organizations of the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation, Belarus' main ally and partner in the field of military–technical cooperation, and one of the leaders in the global arms market.
The products of the Belarusian defense industry are widely represented at the exhibition forum. These are armored vehicles, communication systems, air defense systems, unmanned aerial vehicles, small arms, combat modules, dual-use equipment and technologies, optoelectronic equipment, innovative developments based on the latest information and telecommunications technologies, and much more.
More than 750 samples of Belarusian-made weapons, military and special equipment are on display at MILEX 2025. Among them are the newest, advanced developments of the Belarusian defense industry. These are the Buk-MB-2K anti-aircraft missile system with the first Russian anti-aircraft guided missile, the Sapphire grenade launcher system, the V-2 armored personnel carrier and other novelties.
As part of the scientific and business program of the forum, a meeting of the Coordinating Council of the authorized Bodies of the CSTO member states on advertising and exhibition activities will be held.
Another significant event will be the 11th International Scientific Conference on the Development of Weapons, Military and Special Equipment and Dual-use Technologies. It will be attended by about 300 international experts and defense industry specialists in five breakout sessions, who will present more than 50 reports on various areas and aspects of the development of the military-industrial complex.
The conference sessions will address topical issues of creating systems to counter high-precision weapons, electronic warfare, radio, radio engineering and radar reconnaissance, command and control of troops and weapons, and radio communications. A separate section will be devoted to one of the most relevant topics for today – unmanned complexes for various purposes. The participants will also consider the development and modernization of the VVST, testing devices and equipment, current trends in military medicine and pharmacology.
The MILEX Arms and Military Equipment Exhibition is organized in the Republic of Belarus on a regular basis and has been held every two years since 2001. The geography of the exhibition's participants is constantly expanding, which indicates its relevance and effectiveness, as well as the growing interest in it.
In terms of the scale of the tasks being solved, the composition and level of participants, and the availability of exhibition infrastructure, MILEX is one of the largest in the Eastern European region. In a short period of time, it has gained a reputation as a serious international salon.
