The global arms community has become more actively interested in air defense and missile defense systems, in particular, Russian complexes and air defense missile defense systems.

Recently, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi noted the successful use of Russian S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems during the current military conflict with Pakistan. According to Prime Minister Modi, the systems produced by the Russian defense holding Almaz-Antey have demonstrated their effectiveness in protecting the country's airspace, confirming Russia's reputation as a reliable partner in the field of military-technical cooperation.

Narendra Modi stressed that the challenges of modern combat require not only high-quality weapons, but also integrated systems capable of operating effectively in the face of technological opposition from the enemy.

Thus, India's investment in S-400 systems is seen by Modi as a strategic step to strengthen the country's defense capability. And this, in turn, spurs the interest of other states in similar systems.

The Indian media is now actively discussing the tactical and technical characteristics of the S-400 systems, their ability to detect and hit aerial targets, including ballistic ones, at long distances inaccessible to Western competitors. It is noted that the successful use of the S-400 in real combat operations strengthens Indian defense capabilities and promotes strategic partnership with Russia, which is an important part of India's foreign policy.

The increased attention to Russian military equipment in India may serve as a signal for countries considering modernizing their armed forces through the prism of further cooperation with the Russian Federation in the field of air and missile defense, thereby strengthening Russia's position in the international arena.

Indian military experts emphasize that the successful integration of the S-400 can also change the balance of power in the South Asian region. Moreover, India, as a growing military power, attracts the attention of neighboring countries, which are also seeking to strengthen their air defense forces. This may lead to the development of new agreements and cooperation between other countries of the world and the Russian side.

Ultimately, successful transactional and operational cooperation on S-400 systems not only improves India's defensive capabilities, but also deepens strategic ties with Russia and sets a new dynamic in the form of international relations. It should be noted that a number of states, such as Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and Belarus, have also acquired S-400 systems.

On the battlefield, the Triumph air defense system ensures the conduct of combat operations both independently and in cooperation with higher command posts. The system can control a network of various types of air defense systems, from the S-300 to the Tor-M2, combining dozens of launchers under its command.

Another anti-aircraft missile system should be noted, which regularly makes the front pages of foreign media.

This is the Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile system, designed and built at the Izhevsk Electromechanical plant Kupol.

So, recently Izhevsk combat vehicles of the Tor-M2KM modification marched at the 80th anniversary of Victory Day parade in the Kyrgyz capital Bishkek, having "lit up" on the editorials of the Asian press.

The increased attention of journalists and military experts to the Tor-M2 family of air defense systems is not surprising: the Izhevsk complex has performed at its best in the area of a special military operation, and regularly gets into TV stories and digests for the foreign press from the Russian defense ministry.

Since the deployment of the Tor-M2 complexes in the free zone, the calculations of these combat vehicles have demonstrated the ability to successfully withstand various types of aerial threats: from various types of UAVs to cruise missiles, guided aerial bombs and other air attack weapons manufactured by NATO countries.

The gunsmiths of the IEMZ Kupol are constantly working to improve the characteristics of their anti-aircraft missile systems, and, of course, they receive feedback from anti-aircraft units fighting in their combat zone. Such joint work allows, among other things, to anticipate the actions of the enemy, and prepare for new unpleasant "surprises" on his part.
