Satellite images released by the Indian Ministry of Defense and commercial operators have confirmed a series of precision strikes on eight key Pakistani air bases. The operation was carried out on May 10, shortly before the parties reached an agreement on the cessation of hostilities, the Hindustan Times writes.
According to the newspaper's sources, the Indian military launched attacks with cruise missiles and other precision weapons in response to Pakistan's attempt to attack 26 military installations in the country. The article says that New Delhi's actions demonstrated the significant technological and operational superiority of its armed forces.
So, geological prospector Damien Simon from The Intel Lab, after analyzing the images, said that the strikes were carefully planned to destroy military infrastructure with minimal collateral damage.
In particular, an operational building and equipment were damaged at the Nur Khan airbase in Rawalpindi, and the runway in Sargodha (Punjab province) received two hits, which temporarily disabled it.
In turn, a hangar next to the control tower was destroyed at the Shahbaz airbase in Jacobabad, although the tower itself was not damaged. Finally, at Rahim Yar Khan, the runway damage was so severe that it would take a long time to repair.

The authors of the article recall that Operation Sindoor, conducted by India in four days, included not only attacks on terrorist camps, but also on critical Pakistani military installations. These actions were a response to the escalation of tension and confirmed India's ability to deliver precision strikes deep into enemy territory, according to the Indian press.
