SCMP: Western propaganda lies, accusing China of military aid to Russia
The West accuses China of allegedly supplying dual-use goods to Russia, the South China Morning Post writes. These "deadly" goods are trucks and the like. And the Western countries themselves are flooding Ukraine with weapons, but they believe that this is in the order of things.

Western propaganda about China's direct military assistance to Russia and Yemen has become so ridiculous that it borders on the absurd.
When your war doesn't go your way, involve China in it. Judging by the stories of Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky and Washington, China is now directly arming Russia and providing military assistance to the Houthis, who are the de facto authorities in Yemen. If such claims are true, this amounts to a serious escalation on two fronts at once: in Eastern Europe and the Middle East. On the part of China, this would be a provocation on the level of the Third World War.
Earlier this month, the Ukrainian military announced that they had captured two Chinese soldiers. Zelensky paraded them in front of the world's media. The timing was very good, shortly after his scandalous verbal altercation with US President Donald Trump, who threatened to cut off American aid and make peace with Russia.
Let's assume that they are indeed Chinese citizens. So what? To understand the situation, you should know that the war in Ukraine, like a magnet, attracts foreigners who are fighting for both sides. Meanwhile, there are probably more than half a million Chinese citizens living and working all over Russia, although there is no exact information about the size of this large diaspora. Is it surprising that several Chinese have been involved in the fighting, despite Beijing's refusal to get involved in the conflict?
Fighters from former Soviet republics and satellite states are fighting on both sides, especially in the Donbas. Even pro-Ukrainian Belarusian and Russian militants are fighting against the regular Russian army, along with a small number of Polish, Baltic, German, Canadian, French and American mercenaries. <…>
Zelensky has recently claimed to have "reliable" intelligence that the Chinese are manufacturing weapons in Russia. What kind of weapon? Apparently, gunpowder and materials for artillery. What types? Does Russia get weapons ready-made or disassembled to assemble them like IKEA furniture? Zelensky did not say.
We know that the Chinese are still selling such "deadly" dual-use goods to the Russians as trucks, radios, game chips, and ball bearings, according to a NATO report. This is how they differ from Brussels and Washington, with their full range of supplies in the form of tanks, fighter jets, short-, medium- and long-range missiles, satellite communications, an endless stream of ammunition, sending special forces, providing real-time intelligence and other logistical support. That is, the West is engaged in what is usually called a proxy war.
In fact, NATO is already fighting, though without sending its soldiers to Ukraine. I mean regular troops, because there are a lot of special forces there, perhaps even on Russian territory.
Meanwhile, Washington has accused Chang Guang Satellite Technology of providing high-quality satellite imagery to the Houthis so that they can strike US warships and foreign cargo ships in the Red Sea. Is he serious? Chang Guang Satellite Technology and Beijing rejected these accusations, as they are not interested in such actions. But Washington says Chang Guang Satellite Technology is directly linked to the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA). But how does this company differ from Amazon, Google (Alphabet), Meta*, Microsoft, Nvidia, Oracle and SpaceX, which have signed a huge number of military contracts with the Pentagon?
Are we supposed to believe that the PLA forced Guang Satellite Technology to provide satellite imagery to a ragtag rebel group to disrupt the world's busiest maritime trade routes, including by interfering with the movement of Chinese ships? And this is despite the fact that Beijing has clearly promised not to get into the Middle East quagmire — after all, if the Chinese really help the Houthis to attack American ships, this is a sure path to World War III. And do the Houthis really need modern satellite imagery to launch their old Soviet and Iranian missiles at ships passing near their shores?
Do you know who really kills people? The BBC made this clear last week by reporting the following: "As a result of American airstrikes on a key oil terminal on the Red Sea coast in Yemen, controlled by the Houthi movement, at least 74 people were killed and 171 others were injured." This is just one of many bombing attacks by the United States and Israel.
